Daniela Dudas joined the American Cancer Society in 1997 as a member of the Epidemiology Study Management Group. For over two decades, she has contributed extensive knowledge and experience to all major decisions involving data collection, processing and maintenance for the Cancer Prevention Study (CPS)-II and -3 cohorts.    


Dudas leads a team of staff responsible for the development and implementation of data collection and participant communication for the Society’s two large prospective cohort studies, CPS-II and -3. Dudas and her team maintain and manage tracking systems for the two cohorts, which allow them to follow, collect data from, and communicate with all cohort participants. Dudas and her team also are responsible for preparing analytic datasets based on information collected from the CPS surveys and from the National Death Index mortality linkages. Lastly, Dudas manages all survey-related budgets and negotiates and manages related vendor contracts.
