Study Finds Risk of Second Cancers in Childhood Cancer Survivors Has Gone Down Over Time

A new study shows that the risk of developing a second cancer is lower for survivors who were diagnosed with childhood cancer in the 1990s than for those diagnosed in the 1970s.

X Study: Chest Radiation Helps Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients Live Longer

Dutch and British researchers have found that adding chest radiation to standard treatment helped people with advanced small cell lung cancer live longer and reduced the chances of the cancer coming back in the chest.
